A week’s training, plus a day with a franchisee

Nobody likes to be left on their own. That’s why we give you five full days of training at our Head Office. You’ll learn everything about running a successful digital marketing franchise – from how our websites work to the best ways to present to potential clients.

After the 5-day training, you’ll head out for a day with an established franchisee. You’ll see first-hand how they run their online franchise – networking, managing their internet marketing business, and meeting potential clients.

Ongoing opportunities to upskill

As well as a full induction from the outset, all franchisees have multiple opportunities to upskill – whether it be through how-to videos, webinars, or training courses with Head Office or through third party trainers, either online or face-to-face. This ensures you always stay ahead of the curve in terms of your knowledge and skills.

Online support centre and forum

Our online support centre is full of helpful information – from tips on digital marketing to full video tutorials, we ensure that you always have access to tools, information, and marketing assets that will help you drive your business forward.

We also have dedicated forums for franchisees and Head Office staff to post topics for discussion. We promote a positive culture of peer support, so you can share ideas, best practice, and case studies with other franchisees.

Annual conference

Once a year, everyone involved in spoton.net gets together for the annual conference. It’s a chance to meet other franchisees, learn more about one another’s online marketing franchise, and share hard-won website and digital marketing knowledge.

Dedicated point of contact at HQ

From day one you’ll benefit from having the personal support of an experienced Franchise Development Manager – Alex Brook. He’ll always be on hand to answer any questions you may have and he’ll have regular catch ups with you via email and phone, and will also come out to visit you. He’ll be with you for every step of your franchise journey – offering advice and sharing best practice.

All of our Head Office team work together closely to support every one of our franchisees, and if you partner with us, you’ll have access to every department if ever you need assistance. Your go-to point of contact will be Alex Brook, your dedicated Franchise Development Manager, but you’ll also get to know the other experienced members of our leadership team when you join our franchise.

Frequently asked questions

Q. What are the differences between pay monthly and pay upfront packages?

A. With our pay monthly packages everything is included, this means the design, build, hosting, domain renewals and unlimited content changes are all included. With pay upfront you get everything you do as the pay monthly packages but only for the first 12 months. After this period you can choose an optional extra payment if you need unlimited content changes.

Q. Ok but am I tied into any lengthly contracts?

A. Our pay monthly website packages require a minimum term of 12 months. After this period it’s a rolling monthly contract.

Q. What if I already have a domain name?

A. No problem, you can either transfer this to us and you can then benefit from unlimited email accounts (and more) or you can keep it with your current domain registar – either way we can use any existing domain.

Q. What if I do not like what you design for me?

A. Not to worry, we keep designing your website until we have something you are 100% happy with. We’re passionate about design and pretty sure we can come up with something to blow your socks off.

Q. Do you create ecommerce wesites?

A. Yes! We have extremely cost effective plans for ecommerce websites. We can build your entire site & store, set up payment & shipping options and teach you how to add products and process orders over a screen-share if you need.

Our free trial allows you to set up your entire shop before making your first payment – so you only begin paying when your website is ready to go live. Our ecommerce platform is updated regularly to compete with the major players – it’s also designed to be super easy to use.

Q. Are you websites from templates or bespoke?

A. All our websites are designed from scratch, we don’t use any templates.

Q. How long does it take to build my website?

A. This depends entirely on how complex your website is and how quickly you can provide the content that we request. The average time is 10 – 20 days – much less for 1 page page websites.

We don’t go live until you are 100% happy. If you like, we can go live before it is finished and then add more pages as you want them.

For ecommerce sites, simply upload your items and they’ll automatically appear in your store without further input from us (unless you’d like specific landing pages for those products) – so the time to create ecommerce sites is very much the same as our static websites.

Membership websites can take a little longer to create because we’ll need to create your custom membership area and then provide a 1-to-1 screenshare to guide you through the process of managing members – it’s actually very easy.

Q. What CMS platform do you use?

A. We’ve developed our own CMS platform, we don’t use WordPress or any other opensource platforms. We do sometimes use Opencart for Ecommerce Websites.

Q. Can you design my logo too?

A. Hell yes! We can pretty much design anything, from logos, business cards, brochures and lots more, check out our graphic design section.

Q. Do I own the website?

A. Yes the website is yours, after the 12 month period you are welcome to transfer away however you will not get the level of support we offer and you will not be able to update our website using our content management system, you would need to find a new web designer to setup the site elsewhere.
